HAIR CARE

VIRGIN HUMAN HAIR

For wavy, curly and deep wave hair at least once a week using a good quality sulfate-free product. Use moisture-rich products for the best results.-Do not massage the hair.-Rinse thoroughly.-After washing, use a dime size amount of oil to lock the moisture in your hair-Do not use oil products excessively on your hair it will cause the hair to weigh down and become stiff.-Brush hair with a weave brush and from the bottom up this way shedding and tangling can be to a minimum. For Curly Hair-Apply a moisture rich Conditioner and comb hair, starting with the ends working your way up to your roots.-Leave Conditioner in for at least 15 minutes or more.-Do not massage the hair.-Rinse thoroughly.-Scrunch hair gently to enhance the curls.-When damp, apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum for a more tamed look.-Let air-dry.-Do not use oil products excessively on curly hair, it will cause matting.-Do not brush or comb hair when dry, it will cause hair to frizz and may cause hair to tangle & break off.- Brush/Comb your hair from the bottom up this way you don't tangle your hair. Blonde Hair -Anytime you bleach hair to #613 Platinum Blonde that hair will be fragile and easier to break off due to the hair bonds being broken. Platinum Blonde Hair will require daily hydrating of Argan Oil and Washed Weekly with some Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. Lace/Closures-Do not over pluck your lace especially yourself we know that enhanced natural look is attractive but over your lace will shed causing your lace to over shed due to the excessive plucking. Please let a professional do it.-It is very important that you know laces are to be done by a person with experience. -Swiss lace frontals and closures are fine and delicate because they were made to blend seamlessly like skin and can rip easily. Be very cautious with applying them and how you handle them.-Laces are delicate and easy to damage if you don't know what you are doing or how to care for them. The hair is only attached to the lace by a knot. If you over process your knots, you will experience a serious case of shedding.-If you are too rough on the lace by combing & brushing it will shed. Laces are not meant to last forever and although they can be reused, the number of times depends on how you maintain them.(I can wear my Lace Wigs for months because I do not wear it everyday.) Night time routine-Tie down frontal/closures with a head tie or scarf make sure to apply light pressure around your hairline.

INDIAN RAW HAIR

  • Use a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb to style your hair

  • Use a leave-in conditioner to ensure your hair is moisturized

  • Always detangle your hair prior to co-washing or washing your hair; be gentle

  • Minimize the use of heat on your hair. If you must use heat; a heat protectant is a must. The melting point of hair is 422 degrees. Anything over this temperature will cause the hair to break down, dry out, and become damaged. Never go over this level of heat while styling hair. Also, try to avoid excessive passes with the flat iron or curling iron. This is especially important with curly and wavy hair. Using too much heat will destroy the curl pattern and prevent your extensions from lasting as long as they should.

  • At night use a satin bonnet or scarf to protect your hair. Sleeping on a satin pillow is also helpful. If your extensions are textured or curly, you may want to use flexirods to help maintain the curls. You can also put large twists or braids in to maintain the wave pattern. Never go to sleep without wrapping your hair!

  • Maintain biweekly shampooing.

  • Glam Natural Hair Co. Extensions are 100% Human Hair and need to be conditioned regularly. Always use high quality shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. When conditioning, allow the product to remain on the hair at least 30 minutes with heat if possible for maximum conditioning.
